The Madden Ultimate Team (MUT) Team of the Week is released by EA each Tuesday. In the past, the players picked for the TOTW were all based on the prior week's performance. However, MUT 21 has changed things up a lot by doing a mix of things. There will now be a collection of players each week that is a mix of both modern and legacy. In Madden, rating thresholds are used to gate certain animations and mechanics. These thresholds establish certain rating ranges that affect how players perform in specific aspects of the game. Ultimately the value of a single rating point does not always scale linearly, or even fully against the actual game play graph of the rating, due to these thresholds.
