As last year's Madden cover athlete, Mahomes reached the "99 Club" in late September after just 20 career games played. However, this year the bouncers (EA Ratings Adjustors) have let him in the " 99 Club" on Day 1, and rightfully so! EA gave us our first sneak peek at Madden 21 player ratings, starting with the Rookie QBs! Beginning next week on Monday, July 13th, additional player ratings will be revealed, starting with the 99 OVR Club. Tune in to ESPN Programs such as "Get Up", "First Take", "SportsCenter", and "NFL Live" to see OVR reveals and discussion by some of the game's top analysts and former players. This week-long event culminates with a SportsCenter special on Friday, July 17th at 7 pm ET, where any remaining player ratings will be revealed. The full rookie ratings can be viewed here . EA announced an official release date of August 28th. You can play 3 days earlier than that if you pre-order the Deluxe or MVP editions which come out on Tuesday, August 25th, 2020.! Here are predictions on who the top 10 players on Madden NFL 21 will be along with their rating. 10. George Kittle (96 OVR) This might seem high for a tight end, but George Kittle is a beast both with the ball and blocking. Because of that double threat, he’ll end up with a huge OVR and be a nightmare to defend. 9. DeAndre Hopkins (96 OVR) A surprise trade to Arizona in the off-season won’t stop DeAndre Hopkins being highly rated in Madden 21. The spectacular receiver can make every catch in the book, along with some that aren’t. 8. Khalil Mack (97 OVR) The Bears outside linebacker had something of a quiet 2019 with just 8.5 sacks.
